Hagerman functioned as the principal concrete contractor in the 62,000 s.f. Pulliam Press Expansion project for the Indianapolis Star. The table top presses utilized 100 cubic yards of expansive concrete, requiring mass foundations with precisely set anchor bolts and embeds. Due to numerous cutouts for communications and paper travel, the installation of the tabletop was a complex task. Many slab elevations were required to create maintenance pits. This fast-track project was completed in eight months.
