The $55 million, 161-acre Carmel Clay Central Park features a fishing lagoon and boardwalk, skateboard park, woodland garden, four miles of trails and an outdoor aqua park including a lazy river, waterslides and kiddie pool. The gem of the park is the Monon Center, a 146,000-square-foot facility comprised of two buildings connected by an elevated, enclosed walkway. Its west building features dance and fitness studios, indoor walking/running track, basketball courts, indoor aquatics center with two pools and two waterslides, childcare area, party and conference rooms, café, and cardio fitness area. Housed in the east building are four classrooms, an art studio, computer lab, terrace and banquet facilities with catering kitchen.
